Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and articulate Anchor and Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to deliver news or stories both on-screen and in written formats. The role involves anchoring live shows, creating video content, and writing compelling articles or scripts for diverse platforms including TV, digital, and social media.

Key Responsibilities: As an Anchor:
• Present live and pre-recorded news, programs, or events with clarity and professionalism.
• Research, organize, and verify information for news bulletins or special features.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of shows.
• Engage with the audience during live segments and respond to viewer comments, feedback, or questions.
• Maintain on-screen presence in interviews, discussions, and other formats.
• Be prepared for breaking news situations and manage impromptu reporting when required.

As a Content Writer:
• Write, edit, and proofread scripts, articles, and content for various media platforms.
• Develop well-researched, engaging, and creative content aligned with editorial and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the production and editorial teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of content.
• Adapt content style and tone for different audiences and formats (news, blogs, social media, etc.).
• Stay updated with current events, trends, and industry developments to deliver relevant and timely content.
• Optimize written content for SEO when needed.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in anchoring and content writing (broadcasting, journalism, or digital media preferred).
• Strong command of the language (both spoken and written) [specify language].
• Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with teleprompters, editing software, and newsroom management tools.
• Knowledge of social media and digital content strategies is a plus.
• Comfortable in front of the camera and with public speaking.
