Job Overview:
As a Production Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the production team in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. Responsibilities:
Pre-Production Support:
Assist in the planning and organization of pre-production activities, including script breakdowns, scheduling, and logistics.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary resources and equipment are available.
Production Coordination:
Support on-set activities by assisting with the setup of equipment, maintaining a tidy production environment, and facilitating communication between crew members.
Manage production-related paperwork, such as call sheets, production reports, and releases.
Logistics and Transportation:
Coordinate transportation for cast and crew as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies to the production location.
Set Assistance:
Assist in the setup and breakdown of sets, including arranging props, managing crowd control, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Address day-to-day operational needs on set to enhance efficiency.
Post-Production Support:
Assist in the organization of footage, documents, and media assets for post-production teams.
Coordinate with editors and other post-production staff to facilitate a seamless workflow.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Provide support to the production team by responding to inquiries and relaying information in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant education in film, media, or a related field is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of film and production terminology.
