Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learn about Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and their applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
2. Assist senior team members in market research and analysis to identify potential customers and market segments.
3. Support sales efforts by preparing sales presentations, collaterals, and promotional materials.
4. Participate in customer meetings and presentations to understand client needs and preferences.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support in product development and launch activities.
6. Assist in maintaining customer relationships and addressing inquiries or concerns.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
4. Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
Experienced Candidates
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote API products and achieve sales targets.
2. Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business and maintain existing accounts.
4. Provide market insights and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.
5. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives and participation in industry events.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to support product development and launch activities.
7. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry trends.
7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
